Why the World Feels Broken—and What God Did About It
You don’t have to look far to see that something’s not right—with the world, with others, with ourselves. But what if this brokenness actually points us to something greater? This is the true story of where we came from, what went wrong, and how God stepped in to make it right.

Creation
God made everything, including you, with purpose. Creation Points to a Creator. A painting doesn’t happen by accident. Behind every brushstroke is an artist. A building doesn’t build itself—there’s always an architect and a plan. In the same way, the beauty, order, and complexity of the universe—and of your life—point clearly to a Creator. Nature isn’t random. It reflects design, purpose, and intention. That’s why the Bible says: "Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." — Romans 1:20 Creation is evidence. And it's calling you to look beyond the visible—to the One who made it all.

The Fall
Something is deeply wrong in the world—and in us. That brokenness isn’t just external; it runs through every human heart. The Bible calls it sin. Sin is falling short of God’s perfect standard. It's more than just bad behavior—it’s a rejection of God’s ways, whether in actions, words, or even our thoughts and desires. The Ten Commandments give us a moral law to show what holiness looks like. And Jesus, in His Sermon on the Mount, reveals that sin goes even deeper: even things like hatred, lust, and pride are violations of God’s law. It’s not just what we do—it’s who we are apart from Him. As Scripture says: “None is righteous, no, not one.” — Romans 3:10 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 And the consequence is serious: “For the wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23 Because we’ve all sinned against a holy God, we all deserve judgment—separation from the very One who gave us life.

Redemption
The Good News - Though we were separated from God by our sin, He didn’t leave us there. The story doesn’t end in judgment—it leads to rescue. God’s love moved Him to act. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to do what we could never do: live a sinless life, fulfill the law perfectly, and then take our place in death. On the cross, Jesus bore the full weight of our sin, satisfying justice so that mercy could be offered freely. Jesus didn’t stay dead. He rose from the grave, proving His power over sin and death, and offering us new life through Him. This is the second half of Romans 6:23: “…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23 God’s justice was satisfied at the cross, and His love was fully revealed. Jesus took what we deserved so we could receive what only He deserves—life, forgiveness, and peace with God.

Response
The gospel is more than a message—it's a personal invitation from God Himself. He calls each of us to respond with repentance and faith. “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” — Acts 3:19 To repent means to turn away from sin and turn toward God—to admit that we’ve lived apart from Him and to surrender to His rule. To believe is to place your full trust in Jesus: in His death for your sins, and in His resurrection as the only hope for new life. This isn't about being perfect or religious. It’s about recognizing your need for grace and placing your life in Jesus' hands. “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9 God doesn’t force us. But He invites us. His arms are open to all who will come. How will you respond?
